Help with Redhat 9
I ran the redhat update this morning to update my system. When i rebooted i got this error message. "An error occured during file system check the system will reboot when you leave the shell give root password for maintenance (or type ctrl-d to cont):
I enter my password and I get this prompt (repair filesystem) 1#
What am I supposed to do now? My sytem drive is a 13 gb fujitsu. I have to 60 gb drives in a Linux software raid 1 configuration. Please help if you can. Thank you in advance.

Check your filesystems manually with fsck. I guess your root file system is on /dev/hda1, right? In that case, run "fsck /dev/hda1". Then check your raid drive; I guess it's on /dev/md0, right?
