hi all,
i want to install both the distros.i already have fc5 in my laptop and i have 20 gb free space.i like to install suse in that.do i have to create two swap spaces.already i e 2 gb as swap space in fc5.and how to handle grub issuescan neone plzz help me to sort out this problem.....
my system config is

AMD Turion ML-32 1.73 Ghz.
1 gb ram.
ati radeon 200m express.
Just install SuSE in the free space. Don't create another Swap partition (the one that was created for Fedora can be used by SuSE). SuSE will normally add necessary enties to it's grub configuration, so when it's installed and you reboot your computer, you will get a boot menu with SuSE and whatever other OS(s) that exists on the hard drive (Fedora in your case).

i think you already installed FC5 and SuSe. from /boot/grub/grub.conf file copy details of FC5 kernel.
details are something like this.
in suse -- yast -- grub, add a new entry for FC5 and write the contents you copied. reboot.Code:title Fedora Core

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet
initrd /initrd-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5.img
