Installing Mandrake on an acer aspire 3610
I am looking at purchasing an acer aspire 3610 from newegg (its all i can afford at the moment).
Would it be easy to install mandriva (either the 2005 limited edition or 2006 edition) on it, and get internet running without having to use ndiswrapper or anything complicated like that?
Not too long ago I bought a very nice "Linux...in easy steps" book from barnes and noble which is based around mandrake 10.1, which i installed on my sony vaio no problem, but then couldnt get ndiswrapper running with a linksys wusb54g. I also would like a laptop for portability (i am on the go ALOT) and because the vaio is starting to show some age (its not too old, got it around 2001,2002)
Thanks for your help
