Installing with Nforce Board

I have an Nforce 2 mobo with onboard audio and video. I can't seem to get the onboard video to do anything but text mode, but when i pop in my agp card from my other comp it works fine. My distro is SuSe 8.1 pro. Does anyone know how to configure this.

Also, my mouse doesn't work half the time on startup. It is a microsoft intellimouse USB. The light doesn't even turn on, so its not detecting anything.

For the usb mouse, I had to do this to get it working.

modprobe -r usbmouse
modprobe hid

this will unload (modprobe -r) the standard usbmouse drivers (usbmouse)
then you are loading (modprobe) the Human Interface Device driver (hid)

that got mine working, and if that works you can script it to run that at start up.

Edit: Go to the nvidia site Here and download the graphics driver for Linux IA32 (NForce 2's use onboard GeForce 4 MX, so their drivers should cover it). Install them and udpate your XF86Config and it should work....
