Have RH 9.0, can only install in text mode and can get no further, think it’s because I have 256M graphics card. (fx 5600 GPU quite old now) Can change card to an ooooolllllld 4M card and it works fine. I am new to Linux and would like to see what it has to offer, any help would most welcome.
You need to get the driver from Nvidia. Check thier webpage - http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux.html
Tried that didn't work, maybe you could tell me how to install the driver so it will work

easy way to do this from the experience that i had, is (with your old card installed) go into redhat-config-xfree86 change the card type to the Nvidia Fx (generic) in X windowsk reboot the computer, plug in your 5600 and it should work no prob.
