Major problems with installing Kubuntu!
Hi. I am a total Linux noob so bear with me. I am trying to install Kubuntu on an external HD via USB. I Have an iBook G4 and the correct version. It gets about half way through the installation and then when it trys to install the "yaboot" it fails. Why is this? Can it be fixed?
Also, I when that didn't work, I wanted to try Mandrake. So I downloaded the iso and burned it to a DVD. But it never lets me start up from the cd to do the install.
Can you please help? I am pulling my hair out about this!

* Did you burn the CD from the ISO image instead of just copying the image as a file onto the CD?
* Did you hold down the C key during boot?
