MEPIS 3.4 RC1 - the good and the bad

First the bad:
Firefox 1.5 will not open. Konqueror web bowser works fine as i could
surf with it. Either Firefox 1.5 isn't ready for "prime time" or the Mepis
team needs to correct their booboo.
Now the good: Mepis 3.4 RC1 will install easily( hey,its Mepis it
always installs easily) on an AMD64 system. So i will leave it on till
RC2 comes out.

Later

Downloaded a fresh iso from another mirror and installed anew.
Gizzam!! Firefox works great. My other disk was obviously defective.
Sorry Warren, i should never have doubted you.

Remember, Firefox 1.5 is not final so odds are there could be bugs in Firefox as well :wink:.
