Message at boot "Secondary Hard Disk Fail" But the
This may not be just a linux question but......
I have just installed Linux on a second ide hard drive set as slave to secondary.
When i boot up from cold (after machine has been switched off) before it gets to the Bootloader it comes up with a message "secondary hard disk fail" If i then hit the f1 button all i get is then a load of 1's and 0's. However the system works fine if i hit the reset button. The second hard drive is automatically recognisd.
Can i change a setting somewhere so that this doesn't happed if i boot up from cold?
