Mounting a Hard Disk Drive
Hey,
I am a newbie to linux,
I currently have Redhat 9.0 on a Sony Viao Desktop with WinXP home installed on it too.
I was wondering if i could mount my windows HDD in linux, so i can access files that i used in WinXP in Linux. I tried mounting it, and it gives me this error:
[root@localhost mnt]# mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/win1
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda1,
or too many mounted file systems
I had created the directory and all, and it didn't work. I tried the hardware browser, but it seems useless. Does anyone know how to mount my Windows file contaning HDD in Linux.
Thanks
