Oen Gparted and right click on /dev/sda2 block. Select 'Resize'. Move handler to Left size and click on Apply button.

Every time I try to resize I get this error message "The following operation could not be applied to disk: Resizing /dev/sda2 from 38.25 GiB to 11.72 GiB."Quote:

How much data do you have in NTFS partition? Try to shrink NTFS partition from 38.25 GiB to 25 GB.
I have only about 6 GB in my NTFS partition and I tried to shrink my NTFS partition from 38.25 GiB to 25 GiB, but once again I can't seem to resize my hard drive. Do I have to defrag my hard drive, in Windows, in order to resize my hard drive?Quote:
