No screens found on startx

I'm using a Radeon 9600 Pro, and I'm using mandrake 9.2 and debian woody. When i startx, I get that error message. Could you guys help me out?

Have you had X working previously or has this problem just started recently? If so, what changes have you made recently?

run dmesg|tail right after it crashes and post up the good bits.

also check /var/log/XFree86.0.log for anything good
