Pre installation question
I think this question belong here?
I have an Acer Aspire 5024 WLMI. That has an invisible 2.2GB partition, a C (45GB) drive and a D (45GB) drive. Both fat32 formatted.
Windows XP Home is installed on the laptop.
I don't use the D drive and I want to install linux on it.
Without destroying the XP installation.
I tried to remove the d: drive with GParted but that doesn't see de D drive.
I sees the C and the D drive as one contiguous partition of 90GB.
Why is this?
How can I safely remove this D drive from XP and install linux on it?
If I reformat the D drive with NTFS will it show up in GParted?
