Reformating extra space
A while back ago while I was formattin my HD, I threw on a whole 70 gigs for my Linux distro Gentoo, now though, I was wondering if there was a way that i could somehow use that extra free space I have to reformat and create another partition. I was looking for some graphical or text based software that could help me with this.
never ever thought of taking drive space from linux but mmmm.. can you tell me what file system you formatted the drive with..
this is interesting..?
you could use the partitioner that comes with your distro, failing that, qparted or parted could be used.grab yourself a copy of a livecd like knoppix as they come with qparted & it's easier to partition an unmounted drive
