rmp "--setperms" and "--setugids" option
I am having issues running named - one was SELinux which I've turned off, one is having some files in the wrong places which I'll fix shortly. The third (last? ;^) problem is making some new files/directories *probably* with the wrong permissions. I was looking for a "repair" option to yum or rpm when I found the "--setperms" and "--setugids" options in the man page.
But it is only documented in the 'syntax' section, the explanations after that do not document those options. Has anyone used these options, and will it/they do as I wish - set the permissions/owner/group for the files in the package back to what they are supposed to be?
(I DO realize I'll have to set the permissions for the file *I* create correctly, but at least I could get the "base" files fixed...)
