I have a HP DL380 G3 server.

I have a KVM switch which i am using to share the keyboard, mouse and monitor.
I have connected the ethernet cables from server to a netgear 5-port switch.

From the desktop, when i ping the server broadcast IP address, i am able to ping it.
I am not able to access the server IP address.

ping 192.168.1.100 times out.
What am i missing here?
How can i troubleshoot this issue?
