A xoom 5510-A modem, is this a driver ?
Would someone possibily know the answer to this one please.
I got a zoom 5510 A usb adsl modem for windows and linux.
xoom states it will run in linux.
All I can find on the CD is a folder of 4 files, one is
Install_USB_ADSL.pax.gz
others are:-
Install_USB_ADSL.bom
Install_USB_ADSL.sizes
Install_USB_ADSL.info
The info file gives :-
Title USB ADSL driver
Version 1.0.0b4
Description
DefaultLocation /

### Package Flags
NeedsAuthorization YES
Required NO
Relocatable NO
RequiresReboot YES
UseUserMask NO

I searched around, I got a pax thingy installed from the mandrake 9.1 cd.
It seems pax had something to do with Posix file syspem archiver according to what a site gave for pax.
Anyway, I got the .gz file unpacked into :-
Install_USB_ADSL.pax
I can't work out what to do next, and is this a linux driver or set up file in the first place.
Could anyone offer advice please, I've searched around, probably not in the correct location or I would have founf sommat.
Where can I get a pax unpacker ?
Thanks in advance.
