    how do i change "LABEL=/" to "/dev/hda0"

    im having the same problem
    keep getting unable to mount root fs etc.

    but i dont have a clue how to edit LABEL=/

    someone please enlighten me

    Hi and Welcome !

    Replace LABEL=/ with /dev/hda0 in /etc/fstab and /boot/grub/grub.conf files.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
