    Kernel Booting Time

I experimented changing some options of kernel configuration to recompile a faster kernel. Exist an option to activate time logging in kprintf sys calls. After doing it I found a message in dmesg log file that is extremely slow (compared with other messages). It's message says:

Built 1 zonelists. Total pages: 245696

Someone knows what is it doing? Why is it so slow?
