I just recompiled the 2.6.20 kernel after making some changes to it.
But I am unable to boot from it.When I boot from it, the kernel is properly loaded, as I get this message
but then nothing happens and I get these values of registers at the bottom of the screenuncompressing linux... O.K. booting the kernel
after that the dump of stack is thereInt 14: CR2 c0800000 err 00000002 EIP c044afb4 CS 00000060 flags 00010006
Please help.stack: co6ed7co 00000000 00001000 00001000 fffff000 00000000 ffffffff 00000801
And Is there any webpage or book that explains determining the kind of error from the above kind of data ?
Googling didn't help.

Myfriend you cant fix this without giving your .config file and what you have changed and what you have in your PC.
It is Kernel Panic. And well you can call it the LinuxBSOD..
What you can do to fix is boot livecd -> mount HD -> chroot into HD -> recompile Kernel.
I hope I can help you.
Cheers,
Robin
