problem after compil the fedora8 kernel
hi eveyone:
I've compiled my fedora8 kernel to 2.6.24.3-12. The source code used during the compiling was from the kernel.org. Is this all right? or i'd better to build a fedora system using the very fedora source code? and where could i find the fedora source code in 2.6.24 version? thanks!!

You can get the Fedora kernel source from here. Whichever method you use to compile the kernel should be alright as long as it works. Building the kernel using the Fedora sources has the advantage of being able to create an rpm which you can easily remove later on.
