    Smile How to add system call under 2.6.25.4?

    Hi,
    I download latest version of kernel - 2.6.25.4 .
    Complied & configured & Installed it in Fedora 7
    I looking to learn about adding a system call.

    I read (somewhere) from 2.6.x, you need install patch in order to add a syscall?

    Can you please provide me more details on this? any links ....

    Edit:
    It's been nearly 7 hours guyz ...any one out there know about this patch stuff ????

    from above link

    * sys_call_table is no longer exported in 2.6.x kernels.
    * If you really want to try this DANGEROUS module you will
    * have to apply the supplied patch against your current kernel
    * and recompile it.

    Where is this patch ?

    Yes ...i got this link....
