    Linux Kernel re-build.

    Hi,

    I got new PC with Linux on it. The Linux us Ubuntu.
    My assignment is to build kernel for the hardware requirement. The releases are going to be many for different targets.
    Just started excercising the system with commands.
    I am good hands on in UNIX and kernel re-build also. But long back.

    Kindly help me where I can start to familarize with the commands to re-build kernel.

    Then how to bring a desired change in the existing kernel, how I know the change is build..

    What tools could be helpful to debug kernel crash?
    How to switch to working version of kernel which is backup...

    I find many websites on kernel build...
    Experts, please let me know to build the skills quickly...
