Embedded problems with 2.6.28
I am new to this so I hope someone sees this.
I am building embedded system on x86 boards that use CF as their boot device and I can't turn off the DMA for IDE. Under 2.6.5 I did so in the kernel parameter line with ide=nodma. Doesn't seem to work for 2.6.28.
Any ideas?
Mike.

Sorry I cannot say, but have you looked on The Linux Kernel Archives for information about this? It may be something to ask there.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
