    Question RAM Format

    Hello all,

I am facing a problem here and I do not know the solution yet.

I have a device that boots from flash, and I need to format the flash and upgrade the software on it on the fly.

Until now, I have created a ramdisk and mounted on RAM, but everytime I try to format the flash using sfdisk I got and error indicating that the device is busy (BLKRRPART: Device or resource busy).

Is there any way to solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

You cant format the Flash since its in use.
You should boot from a diffrent device..
