Hi gentlemen,
I installed a dell workstation T7500 with linux-2.6.26.8 plush preempt rt patch 16.
This system has 24G memory and 400G LSI SAS rain hard drive.
When I run "bonnie++ -s 48000M -uroot:root -d /root/bench", the system eventually run out of memory and died. I tried the same test with vanilla kernel 2.6.26.8, it is ok.
It seems the preempt kernel with large memory has some memory issue.
If there are any comments and suggestions I really appreciate.
