    vmware works only with fallback kernel

    Hello there

    After an arch kernel update vmware stopped working for me. In fact the application launches, the main window shows up and then it directly stops like it is killed. I booted the fallback kernel and vmware works just fine. What has gone wrong?

    perhaps the open-vm-tools-modules package didn't get updated with the latest kernel update
