Hi,

i am new the kernel programming and the task i am assigned is to select any of two linux kernel bugs and resolve them. i am facing difficulty in selecting bugs. When i look at bugzilla.kernel.org, i dont understand the steps to reproduce bugs. and i get confused. I have read descriptions of a lot of bugs but i could not understand any of them.

I shall be really thankful if any of you can help me in first selecting an easier bug so that i can start my work. Kindly help me in reproducing bug as well.

For your information, i have installed virtual machine on my vista and ubuntu image is installed in that virtual machine. I have downloaded recent linux kernel code and successfully compiled it too.
