    Hi

I am using linux 2.6.20 from ltib-mpc8313erdb-20070824 on my development board having MPC8313 powerpc processor. Whenever I plug-in the USB device, the serial port starts mal-functioning. It does not receive all the packets.

Are you sure that the serial port is a real RS-232 port, and not a serial-over-usb port?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

Its a RS 422 port. Actually, I have a IO card which connected with the main board through RS422. The QUART signal coming out of MPC8313 is converted to the RS422 and then goes to IO card. The USB is connected to main Board to MPC8313 USB line.
