I'm working on the perfermance counters on Linux to get the perfermance of a computaional fluid dynamics software and I have a problem understanding how to use -c and -F options with perf report.

when using perf report, perf.data is very big a,d I want to know if there's any way to reduce it's size by changing the sampling rate?
