Hi guys

I've been working linux kernel for last 6 months or so , and i suddenly had the idea of using git and pulling all of the repo into my system , to get some sort of professionalism into it . Thot i wud drop by few questions of using it .

1. Does all the build files all those files with .o extensions get monitored by the git software ?

2. If yes then wat should i do if i don't want it tat way , meaning it wud cost u disk space and other burdens doesn't it ? Or is it tat we should build it into some other directory or something like tat ?
