Network Adapter problem when upgrade to kernel 2.4.28
Dear all,
I am using Redhat9.0 with kernel 2.4.20-8, and I upgrade the system kernel into 2.4.28, after that the problem is the eth0 can't get the ip from the DHCP server...
Network card is Realtek8139 and integerated the driver into kernel core.Code:Determining IP information for eth0... failed
my /etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-eth0 config file:
but when I assign a fix ip address it will not have this problem. Why, how can I fix it and get the ip from DHCP server.Code:DEVICE=eth0 BOOTPROTO=dhcp ONBOOT=yes
