    Hi

I am looking for an ATA IOCTL command that would provide the capability to set up a buffer in which data can be returned from the drive/sent to the drive(something similar to SCSI_INQUIRY command).

Is there something like an ATA DIRECT PASSTHROUGH or INQUIRY IOCTL that will help me accomplish this?

Looks like HDIO_DRV_CMD will accomplish this.
