Hi guys, i really need some help. I am planning to develop a simple file manager with simple GUI that can do just the basic copy, move, cut and format for my college project. Can you pls point me to some projects that I can refer to. It would be great if i could find some source codes in C or C++ and some some materials for reference...SOS please help.

    Hello and welcome!

You can find a nice two page listing of current file managers here:

File Managers | Linux App Finder

These are open source projects so you can download the source code and take a look to see how they've constructed each one. You should be able to find the source code on the website for each individual project.

Good luck to you with your own file manager.
