I am new to Linux, and I have been trying to insert a kernel module that I have complied but I get the following error.

insmod: error inserting 'video_server.ko' no such device
Hi,
I am new to Linux, and I have been trying to insert a kernel module that I have complied but I get the following error.
---insmod: error inserting 'video_server.ko' no such device----
I am using 2.6.24-24-rt kernel.
Can anyone help me out.
