How can I get the GIANFAR driver to initially limit itself to 10/100
I am using the "Gianfar" Ethernet Network Driver on a GIGE phi.
I would like to limit the network to 10/100 kbps link speeds during initial network configuration instead of letting it run GIGE?
Any ideas how this can be done?

- I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
You will probably need to modify the driver so that when it is in the initialization/setup phase for the hardware, it sends a message to the board telling it to fall back to 100Mbps. How you do that depends upon the board so I can't tell you how it would be done for this specific device. However, the manufacturer's data sheet and documentation should tell you what lines/ports to twiddle.Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
