Looking for linux kernel first version
Hey!
I'm new at the forum and I already have a question for you guys.
Does someone know where can I find the linux kernel first version? My next work at university is to change the first kernel adapting it to run in the current architectures. I think it isn't gonna be easy.. What do u think? How are your feeling about it?
Thank you so much!

I'd suggest that you contact Linus Torvalds at the linuxfoundation.org, whose sites seem to be unresponsive right now...

Ok. I can reach them now, but response is slow.Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

There was a folder for old kernels in the kernel.org. But, as there was some problem with the kernel.org, for the time being the folder doesn't exit. Alternatively you can access the code for the version linux-0.01 in the following link.
