User mode linux kernel erros

Hi,

I'm trying to run user mode linux for the first time. I used ready-made kernel and filesystem from the following
uml.devloop.org.uk/uml Resources . When I try to run, I get the following erros and then the kernel does not promt for login

[ 545.440000] getmaster - no usable host pty devices
[ 545.440000] Failed to open console 2, err = -2

My host system is as below

Linux prakash 2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686.PAE #1 SMP Sat Nov 7 21:25:57 EST 2009 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux


I'm using following command to run the UML.
./kernel32-3.1.5 ubda=Fedora16-x86-root_fs mem=256M

Can someone please help me in this regard.
