Hi,

I am trying to compile kernel 2.6.38.1 into centos 4.9 OS. The kernel rpm is made, I have successfully installed rpm, rebooted server to the new kernel fine and I can see all services are running fine. But server is not allocating pty to remote terminals to services such as ssh. I can login to the server via console (using KVM attached). I have set CONFIG_UNIX98_PTYS=y in kernel config.

Here are the log messages.
