    problem inserting kernel module

    after lot of hard work I was able to compile module but when I tried to insert it, it gave error saying module format is not supported
    I am using fedora 16
    please help

    Did you maby update the kernel and build against an older one? To see this check uname -r and than check the /usr/src folder if it contains the same kernel

    thank you for reply I am no longer using fedora 16 as when I tried it in linux mint it worked and now I am using the same one
