regarding clock drift or timer issue in a kernel
I have a linux machine running kernel 2.6.32.43, I have an issue, when i am going through GUI and perform any operation like zipping core file or tracing file etc the progress status showing beyond 100% . is it any way related to the kernel(clock drift or timer issue), if yes then can you please explain how and why and how to get rid of this issue.
