    appears disabled...at least I cannot get to it. Can you recommend alternate link? I too am newbie, and need to learn how to edit the kernel. I my case, I need to learn how to erase various kernel configuration items like CONFIG_INTEL_TXT without causing kernel panic, or the OS to become unstable. Note I've no interest in disabling items...only looking to delete them.
