LTE USB in fonera
Hello everyone!
Like you see in title, I went to make working my LTE 4G USB pen in the fonera 2.0n router. If you don't know what I'm talking, go to fon's website.
I already search for the driver and I found this cateee.net/lkddb/web-lkddb/USB_NET_QMI_WWAN.html, where it says, it gives the support for Huawei E392/E392, who its the modem I have.
I tried the modem at linux mint, and it works fine. Using the same page, I put here, about the driver. Shows the support starts from kernel version 3.4.
But the modem uses a lower version, if I don't miss, is 2.4, and maybe they are trying to upgrade to 2.6.
My question is, how can I get that driver working with the version supported by router?
I have some clues I need to swim in code and pickup the source code I need to recreate a new driver, but with some guide and orientation, maybe be I will not lost so easy.
Anyone can help?
Thanks to everyhelper.
