Ping failed in Linux kernel 2.6.31

    Hi all,

I have a problem and need some help.
In the Linux kernel 2.6.31.8 physical NIC ping virtual NIC timeout.

    Roughly as follows:
installed the virtual NIC In the Linux kernel 2.6.31.8 .
The VPN connection ON/OFF is repeated a number of times in one day.
3G Network and NAT is uesd.
Use the 3G Network and Wired Network to VPN communication through virtual NIC.
For a long time to do the above operations.then the physical NIC ping virtual NIC timeout.

Now, the following content is being investigated.
    The problem of communication program.
    The problem of driver.
    The problem of operation system.
    The problem of routing.
    The problem of multiple drivers.
    The problem of process.
    Other related machines.

Assuming every piece of hardware is working, have you configured iptables? I'm thinking maybe host or server have ping disabled.
Could you post the output of the below codes?

    Code:
    lspci
    Code:
    ifconfig -a
    Code:
    sudo iptables -L

Please post the complete output of those 3 codes so we can have more information. I'm not too knowledgeable about VPNs, so if you can post some relevant output commands of it as well, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
