    How to implement the kernel driver which will invoke the v4l2 driver module to capture the image from the USB camera

    can anyone help in this regard...

    Have you looked at the kernel source yet? I'd start with the v4l2 kernel drivers themselves, to see the API in action. lxr.linux.no is a good resource for browsing kernel source online.

    This article discusses writing drivers for V4L2, so maybe it will help you. It is old, but on topic.
