Question Is there a Kobject associated to every sysfs directory

    Hi

I would like to know whether all the sysfs directories are associated with a KObject.
If so, Is there a way to get the KObject associated to say /sys/bus/usb/devices/?
I'm working on a usb mock device driver which can create directories and files inside /sys/bus/usb/devices/ without actual hardware connection. Any help on this is highly appreciated..

    Thanks
    Akhil

    Hi
    Thank you for the question.
Kobject has a long and interesting history and, rather like Pong, it has grown beyond it's original paradigm.
    a) depending on what the developers of your particular distro have done, yes and no
    b) depending on your coding skills yes and no
    c) ask the devs of your distro.
    d) consider your coding skills after the question
