the ELF loader in kernel 2.6.8 Mandrake 10.1
Hello,
I have recently moved to Mandrake 10.1 from Red Hat 9.0. I am working on changing the ELF loader module i.e. /fs/binfmt_elf.c . This was the location of the module in Red Hat 9.0. However, I cannot find this module in Mandrake 10.1 . Can someone please help me with regards to this and also confirm that it is this module that is used to execute and load ELF executables in Linux.
Thanks
Shivanu

Not sure, but keep in mind that Redhat 9 used kernel 2.4 while Mandrake uses the newer (and much better) 2.6
I believe the 2.6 modules are located in /lib/kernel-2.6.x, but I'm probably wrong on that.Emotions are the key to the soul.
