Kernel Differences?
What are the main differences between 2.4.x and 2.6.x? I just acquired a QuickCam yesterday and was wondering if using the new kernel would be better than trying to monkey with the existing one under VL SOHO 5.

The new kernel has more support for cutting edge technology. It is very stable know and I would definitely update not just for your new project but because it is better. I don't have specifics exactly but I'm using 2.6 and it works great. It definetly has better support for more drivers and such. You could check out this page.
