APM managemnt?
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows the exact parameters I have to set so that the kernel compiles in the APM magament stuff. Right now one kernel on my system (red hats) shutdowns down fine while my custom just says "power down" then it doesn't turn of the ATX power supply.
Thanks!

Try adding changing the config to read ACPI=force to your boot loader. That should force power management to shutdown the box when it's finished. Remember if you use lilo, you have to run the command lilo -v to enable your changes.
