Thanks to Spock, who is a "gentooer," we have a replacement to the train wreck which is bootsplash.
Alot of you probably already know about this so Im just posting it for people who want nice splash screens like suse or fedora, when booted up on systems such as gentoo, debian etc.

I have tried Gensplash on Gentoo before I entered OS Nirvana (BSD
), It never worked with a normal compile. I guess it only works best on Genkernel.
