module problem....
I just installed Slackware 10.1, and to reduse the size of the kernel I recompile a custom one. Since Slack automatically install the 2.4.29 kernel & source, thats what I used. I modularized everything except the hardware I have and built that into the kernel. I know it worked because my onboard sis 900 nic and sis7012 sound work but.... This always happens at boot.....
/lib/modules/2.4.29/kernel/drivers/scsi/ide-scsi.o: /lib/modules/2.4.29/kernel/drivers/scsi/ide-scsi.o: unresolved symbol scsi_register_module
Does anybody kow how to solve this??
